FREE Fix it Courses

We are running a series of FREE Fix It Courses at the Boiler House

These will be 9am-4pm the last Saturday of the month to coincide with Repair Cafe. You will learn how to repair electrical items and clothing. This helps people to save money, learn a new skill and be an antidote to throwaway culture.

If you are interested in attended a course, or would like more information please email gro.yticehtwos@ofni

At the Boiler House we aim to provide free and low-cost use of tools, equipment and space for people and be a catalyst for people to reach their potential. We run a variety of community workshops, providing skills for employment, improving health and wellbeing, developing a circular economy, and promoting gender and race equality.

Our centre provides space for people of all ages and backgrounds to work together and participate in practical hands-on ways to shape their lives and communities. This could be as simple as making planters for growing veg at home, or as complex as developing collaborative art, or designing and fabricating new products. We believe everyone can participate given the right encouragement and support
