Keep Moss Side Cool

A conversation on tackling the climate crisis locally

  • planning what we can do together
  • sharing ideas with our neighbours
  • taking ideas home to share

This was an event on the evening of 18th Nov. 2021 at Claremont Primary School.
FREE – and good food was included!*

The idea of these sessions is that we learn more, to do more.

Organised by Moss Side 1.5° – Independent. Voluntary. Resident-led.

Keep Moss Side Cool

It was an event to help us all achieve LESS and MORE:

  • LESS fuel bills
  • LESS dirty air pollution
  • LESS traffic congestion
  • LESS food and fuel poverty
  • LESS rubbish thrown away.
  • MORE helping each other take the climate crisis seriously. We are all needed.
  • MORE understanding. Some of us understand very little, some of us much more.
  • MORE ideas of where to start. Some have ideas or are already doing things.
  • MORE sharing and learning from each other.

FREE. Family-friendly. All ages welcome. It will be repeated this year – tbc.

For this 2021 session we focussed our leaflets on the central area of Moss Side to attract residents to connect and push forward projects in this area. However, everyone across Moss Side and around was welcome. If you are interested in coming next time, and can perhaps help us deliver some leaflets, get in touch!
