Don't get FLU - it can kill you, or just be very painful, horrid and take weeks of life.
All of us over 50 (or 49¾!) can now get vaccinated. It is free, safe and helps those of us most at risk of flu from becoming seriously ill.
It is also available for young children, those pregnant, those living with or caring for people who are at risk. Check the MCC information page.
MCC tells us to phone a pharmacy to make an appointment. So we have assembled some of our local pharmacy phone numbers to help you.

- Organiser of Flu vaccines
The NHS was set up in 1948 to provide everyone in the UK with healthcare based on their needs, and not on their ability to pay. The NHS is respected throughout the world for the standard of care it gives to patients.
More people work for the NHS than any other organisation in the country: over 1 million people in England alone. That is around one in every forty people.
